St. Theresa Parents’ Club

Mission and Objectives
The St. Theresa Parents’ Club serves as an organization through which parents support the interests of the St. Theresa School community in the spirit of Christian values. That essential support is demonstrated through the activities of our Parents Club committees which operate many of the school’s programs.
The objectives of the St. Theresa Parents’ Community are:

  1. To raise funds for the school.

  2. To provide enrichment programs that serve our students

  3. To support and recognize the value of the staff and teachers at St. Theresa.

  4. To provide parent education and promote community building within the school and the larger St. Theresa parish community.

Welcome from our Parents’ Club President

Hi, I'm Galiana — proud mom of Gema (rising 4th grader) and Diego (rising 1st grader), and your incoming Parents Club President. I am so excited to step into this role and build on the incredible energy and spirit this community already has.

My hope for this year is simple: I want every family to feel like this school is a second home — a place where you belong, your voice matters, and your ideas actually shape what we do together. Whether you can volunteer every week or just show up once in a while, there's a place for you here, and I never want anyone to feel overwhelmed or left out.

I'm not new to getting involved around here — you may have spotted me coordinating lunch, coaching basketball, or enthusiastically cheering at the Talent Show (my personal favorite) or the Halloween Parade (a very close second). One thing I feel strongly about is showing up for the incredible people who show up for our kids every single day — from the school and parish staff to the wonderful team at STEP. They deserve our appreciation and support, and championing them will always be a priority for me.

By day, I work in workforce development, helping organizations design programs that put people first — and that same philosophy is what I'm bringing to the Parents Club. You'll be seen, you'll be heard, and this community will reflect all of us.

When I'm not working or wrangling my two kiddos alongside my husband Jorge, I'm playing volleyball in an adult rec league and hunting down the best ice cream in the East Bay.

I can't wait to meet more of you and make this a year to remember. Come say hi!

Galiana Fajardo

St. Theresa Parents’ Club President 2026-2027

Meet the St. Theresa Parents’ Club.

  • Committees

The St. Theresa Parents’ Club plays a vital role in important school initiatives and operations throughout the school year. By volunteering on an STPC committee, you can make a meaningful contribution to our school! Here’s a summary of our STPC committees and the current committee leadership team.

  • Fundraising

Funding raised through the St. Theresa Parents’ Club underwrites academic excellence, enrichment programming, and important school budget priorities, all of which benefit our children’s experience at St. Theresa.

  • Volunteering

Central to the mission of the St. Theresa Parents’ Club is to organize the time, talent and energy of our school parents, and in doing so provide the school with a network of essential volunteer services to support school programs.
